The words behind the work.

A strong newsletter feels like a conversation people actively want to return to. Whether you are launching a Substack to share your design philosophy or sharing a studio update for high-value clients, every issue should feel considered. I'll turn your latest projects, ideas, and inspirations into a compelling editorial presence that builds trust, fosters community, and keeps your work at the center of the design conversation.

Have a project in mind? Choose from one of the writing services to the right, or book for a more general chat.

  • From a single issue to an ongoing editorial partnership, I handle the full writing and production process for your newsletter, including drafting, refining, and formatting directly in Substack or Mailchimp. Whether published under your name or mine, every issue is written with the same care and precision you bring to your work.

  • A great newsletter doesn't happen by accident. I'll help you define your audience, establish your editorial voice, and build a content calendar that keeps you consistent without feeling reactive. From launch strategy to long-term audience engagement, this is the thinking that makes the writing land.

  • If you're writing your own newsletter but want it to sound sharper, more considered, and more distinctly you, I offer copyediting and voice development to elevate what you already have. This is for the designer who has plenty to say, and just needs a trusted editor to make sure it lands with greater clarity.

  • The best-written newsletter still needs readers. I'll help you attract and retain them through lead magnets, sign-up copy, and subject line strategy designed to convert browsers into loyal subscribers—and keep them.

How it Works

The process begins with a voice and strategy session where we'll define your audience, your tone, and what you want your newsletter to stand for. We’ll then build an editorial calendar and plan out content. From there, I'll handle research, writing, and editing on a rolling basis, delivering each issue ready to send.

THE PROCESS

To scope a newsletter project accurately, it helps to have:

  • Bio, background, and area of focus

  • Preferred publishing frequency

  • Writers or newsletters you admire

  • Words that feel like you, and ones that don't

  • Your design philosophy in your own words

  • Who you're writing for and what you want them to feel

  • Topics, obsessions, and themes you want to explore

  • Any upcoming launches or moments to plan around

  • How hands-on you want to be with edits

  • Portfolio imagery for reference

Not sure about some of these yet? That's what the discovery call is for.
